18th July 2010 We still mourn the passing of Strinesdale Matador, an exceptional sire and a great friend, tributes to Mattie can be viewed on our website www.pickmerestud.co.uk . Shortly before his death it was announced that Mattie was again the NPS Champion Sire. This represents a hat trick of wins 2007, 2008 and 2009. With the large number of progeny still coming through the ranks to attain Ridden success we hope that he will be contesting the Sire Championship for many years to come.
